GXL wire is a thin wall, single-conductor automotive primary wire. It also features cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) insulation and has a voltage rating of 50V. It also operates best in a temperature range of -59°F to +257°F. It is used primarily in engine compartments where high heat resistance is required.
