  1. What is a tether? A tether is a type of kill switch that cuts off the engine in the event you are in an accident and fall off the machine. In the event the throttle is bent/broken and is stuck wide open. The kill switch lanyard attaches to your wrist and clips onto the kill switch mechanism. If you should pull away from the machine, the lanyard pulls off and activates the kill switch circuit. The harness does not come with the tether itself, but will have plug and play connection so that one can be added. You do not need a tether to run the engine, it can be added at a later time.

  2. What is a whip?    A whip light is to help you been seen in hilly or uneven surroundings to allow you to be easier seen over a hill. The harness does not come with the whip light itself. It will come set up for one and will include plug and play connectors to put on the whip you choose to purchase. Alot of people use these simply as a parking light to leave on when parked talking to be seen by others. You will need a DC conversion if you want the light to be light up with the engine off.

 3. How does a rush order work?   You will pay a fee for a rush order if you can not wait the expected lead time.  Rush orders fees vary depending on item price. You will then be added to the RUSH list. If 5 others have paid, you will 6th in line. I urge you to not opt for rush if you can wait. It's a hefty fee and I try to save that for those who have a race coming up, unplanned ride or their harness was damaged unexpectedly. Please try and plan your build and make the harness one of your first purchases. Do not wait until the harness is the last thing you need. There is one of me and thousands of you! For price on rush order text me, my number is located on the homepage.

Rush will speed up your order significantly. If lead times are 6 weeks you will get it in 2 weeks or less. If you need it YESTERDAY it will cost you more but i will make it happen. I Have to be fair to everyone.

4.  What is the average lead time?  Normally I like to tell everyone to plan for 30 days. This allows me sick time and family days if anything should come up. During Tax season lead times can reach as high as 8 weeks. Posted lead times are ALWAYS the maximum time you should expect to wait. Most times you will receive your item sooner.

Small items may ship faster as they take less time to build. You may get it in as little as 1 week  with a posted 30 day lead time, however I don't like to promise that should I become ill or have an emergency. 2 days out of the week I try to build and send all the smaller items. These items being pigtails and adapters. I don't believe it's fair some one should wait the full lead time for a small item. In the event you need your item in a certain time frame please text me. My number is on the homepage. If you need it really soon it may fall under a rush order.

5. Do you have premade items? I don't. There is no way I could keep up with the demands of my clientele. I simply cannot build fast enough. Not only that, I don't know what you are going to order. These harnesses can be built so many different ways, I just cant foresee what will sell and when. I do not have free time to build even the most basic harnesses for inventory. I stay no less than 2 weeks out on orders at any given time and my weekends are 100% family time.

Your Item does not exist until I build it. Chances are, you will order it and I won't even know about it until I pull my work list for that day which may be weeks later.  Your item will come from 1000' spools as seen in the above image. When you order please be aware of the current lead time and expect to wait that time Unless I've told you different or you have paid Rush.
